Like I said in one of my recent posts, fashion always come back around. And just like in the 80s and 90s, the fanny pack swag is making a comeback, from casual and sporty to luxury and high fashion. There’s currently a trend with casual/sporty fanny packs, where the younger crowd is wear it around their chest, instead of around their waist. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the other trend is designer’s, like Gucci and Louis Vuitton are creating their own chic, fanny packs, also known as waist bags. I personally love the mix of street fashion and not too much effort that is created.
I, on the other hand decided to create my own fanny pack or waist bag out of one the bags I already own. Who doesn’t love a two for one? Especially when you already own it. I recently saw this being done by some of favorite bloggers just before the designer waist bags started making their debut. If you want create this look while saving some of your coins, you can take any small crossbody bag, designer or not and wrap it around your waist or the belt loop in your jeans. Also another name for fanny packs and waist bags, is belt bags.
