Trusting God | Featured Post – SevntyOne

Today we have a featured post from a friend, Matheus, Matt! As most of the people who have been featured are close friends, so is Matt. Growing up together, attending the same church and seeing his love and passion for God I asked Matt if he would right a post, especially since all the past features have been women. Matt’s post is what God placed in his heart. Also Matt and another friend Lucas currently have a Youtube page and an Instagram ( @SevtnyOne) with amazing videos based on messages like his post below, to help you know God, so make sure you check them out, follow and subscribe!!!

Have you ever been in a situation where your first reaction was to panic? I sure have. It might seem a little silly or pointless to react this way, but I’m sure that I’m not the only one who has melt downs when I can’t find my phone. For most of us, we can’t live without that glowing screen with buttons and if it’s not next to us, we panic. However, we always have two options; panic or remain calm and look for it. In life we will always find ourselves face to face with challenges. It could be a work related challenge, a school related challenge, an emotional challenge, or spiritual challenges but we will always have some sort of challenge. Just like the phone epidemic, we have two options on how to react when we encounter these challenges. We could either let it get to us, or trust that God is in control. The results of each option is completely different. If we choose to let it get to us then the results will be worrying, anger, sadness, stress, and so on. If we choose to trust God the result will be peace, security, understanding, and so on. The bible teaches us that those who trust in the Lord, are at peace (Isa. 26:3). Trusting God is the best option to choose but not the easiest. Trusting in Him means we have to believe that He is in control; that even though the situation looks bad from the outside, God knows what’s happening on the inside. I encourage you, the reader, to trust God in every moment of your life. Without trust there can be no love and If you love God you must trust God. We are living in a time where the world is becoming less and less holy, but even in the midst of all this destruction we trust that God is in control and has a plan set in place and His plan involves you. Let’s live according to His calling in us, trusting and loving Him every day no matter what. Grace and peace!

Thank you Sandy for the opportunity to write a post on your blog! I pray that God continues to bless and prosper you and this project!
